Preparing to Teach in the Life-Long Learning Sector: starting 11th September 2010

The PTLLS course is delivered through half day workshops each week for 10 weeks; with home study in between sessions.
The fees are £325; however if you are unemployed and live in the Wolverhampton area we might be able to fully fund your place on this course.

The CTLLS course is delivered through workshops and distance learning. Each topic area is introduced through workshops (attendance is mandatory), further information is then e-mailed at agreed intervals, providing underpinning knowledge, guidance for further study and an assignment to be assessed that demonstrates an understanding of the topic area. In addition, learners will need to maintain a teaching practice log recording 30 hours of teaching practice (some of which will be observed) including lesson plans, materials and evaluations. The fees are £675.

Candidate success and feedback
I would like to thank Topps Limited and everyone I have worked with for all that they have done. Obtaining my qualifications has never been simpler or more enjoyable and that is all thanks to the great service and support from Topps staff. Throughout the completion of my NVQ L3 and L4 in Advice and Guidance my assessor has been encouraging, supportive and readily available to explain or clarify anything I didn't understand and to move onto the next stage. My whole experience with Topps has been positive and inspirational making me feel more confident in my ability and my future. Furthermore since gaining my qualifications with Topps I have had a lot more success with my employment status and have begun working. I would like to once again thank everyone for your support and guidance; it's helped me be where I am today!
