Preparing to Teach in the Life-Long Learning Sector
The programme covers the following aspects of teacher training:
• planning a teaching session and creating a scheme of work• the role of the tutor• the training cycle• meeting individual learner needs• teaching and learning methods• assessment methods• evaluation strategies
The PTLLS course is delivered through half day workshops each week for 10 weeks; with home study in between sessions.
The fees are £325; however if you are unemployed and live in the Wolverhampton area we might be able to fully fund you a place on this course.

Certificate to Teach in the Life-Long Learning Sector
This nationally recognised qualification is suitable for anyone who is currently working in a training, tutoring or assessing role. This qualification follows successful completion of the PTLLS, or equivalent, course. CTLLS is a professional teaching qualification and assessments include theory assignments and 30 hours of teaching practice. The CTLLS course is delivered through workshops and distance learning.
